I have been absolutely awful at keeping up this blog.
I’m so tempted to scrap my old posts and start fresh. Comment below what you think about that…
I am going to give you a quick rundown of what’s been going on and try to catch you up on my life so far.
I finished my Invisalign treatment in May 2021.
It took a little over two years but my smile is something I’m not self-conscious about flashing – in fact, I find I’m really cheesing in some pictures just because I love my new smile!
I really feel like the experience was worth what I paid (full disclosure: $4950.00), even though the events of 2020 extended my treatment a little longer than I would have liked. That’s life.
If anyone is considering Invisalign for alignment issues, I would definitely recommend it! And please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or want a more in-depth post about my experiences and what I did to prepare myself for Invisalign.
You may be asking yourself why I would revive my dead Invisalign blog if I’ve finished my treatment successfully. I hear you, but let me explain myself-
I want this blog to be a place where I can share myself with readers. Maybe I can show you what to do (or what not to do) or maybe you can help me get through a sticky situation. I want this to be an outlet for me to share things beyond just a well-staged Instagram pic and quick blurb.
In fact last night I was chatting with a friend, I mentioned how I wanted to test out a few different oral hygiene products. (I am very into finding the “perfect” oral hygiene routine; I wanna keep my teeth looking their best after all the money I put into them.)
I’ve found a few options that I want to try that also happen to be big for the zero waste crowd. I get that it isn’t for everyone, but I appreciate the space-saving qualities of many zero waste/low waste products. The products I am going to focus on first are toothpaste tablets, tooth powder, and tooth soap. If you have any recommendations for other products you want me to check out, let me know! I will be giving each product a dedicated 30 days of twice a day use to be totally fair.
Who’s with me?
